Position Summary:
As a Tax Admin Assistant at Priority Tax Relief, you’ll play a key role in supporting the tax preparation team by ensuring returns move smoothly through the filing process. This position focuses on administrative coordination of completed tax returns - including sending signature requests, monitoring e-file statuses, resolving e-file rejects, and communicating with clients regarding required documentation. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help ensure accurate and timely filings while supporting preparers and maintaining an efficient workflow during tax season and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Send electronic signature requests to clients for completed tax returns and monitor completion status.
  • Electronically file federal and state tax returns prepared by the tax team.
  • Monitor and resolve e-file rejections by reviewing errors and coordinating corrections with preparers or clients.
  • Send finalized tax documents and related materials to clients securely.
  • Track filing statuses to ensure returns are submitted and accepted in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to tax filings.
  • Assist tax preparers and management with administrative and workflow tasks as needed.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and client information.
