Zuern Building Products is currently seeking a Manufacturing Admin Assistant at our Menomonee Falls location.


Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Controller/General Manager/Production Manager, the Manufacturing Administrative Assistant assists the operations team with organization and compliance.ย 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.


  1. Review and monitor pick tickets, sales orders, purchase orders, work orders, and receiving transactions to ensure inventory accuracy, proper system entry, and efficient inventory flow.
  2. Support procurement of manufacturing-related components and consumables and assist with inventory management activities, including cycle counts, year-end inventory, orphan and negative inventory review, store label updates, and monthly store and yard usage reporting.
  3. Complete and reconcile customer invoicing to ensure accurate inventory, costing, and pricing; assist with costing methodology and month-end work-in-process calculations; and monitor open orders to confirm timely invoicing and customer satisfaction.
  4. Perform daily cash tray reconciliation and complete and reconcile daily bank deposits.
  5. Maintain policies, procedures, and practices for the material return authorization process, including coordinating vendor returns, monitoring return schedules, following up on vendor credits, issuing customer and stock product credits, and assisting accounts payable with supplier credit entry, as applicable.
  6. Monitor and order office supplies; collect, sort, distribute, and prepare mail and courier deliveries; and assist with maintaining a welcoming, organized, and functional store and showroom environment.
  7. Support customer service and sales efforts by assisting customers in person, by phone, and by email; helping promote products and the company; distributing vendor leads; and partnering with the sales team to help ensure customer satisfaction.
  8. Assist the General Manager with training coordination, internal and external store events, miscellaneous projects, and other duties as assigned by management.
