Job Overview:

TMA is looking for an experienced Assistant Account Executive with expertise in integrated brand marketing to join our agency in Irvine, CA. In this role, you will be the critical link between both the creative, account teams and client.

The Assistant Account Executive is also the glue that holds the account team together - juggling multiple projects at once while ensuring deliverables are met and budgets maintained. Part resourceful self-starter, part project manager, this account role is ultimately a problem-solver at heart that keeps everything running smoothly.

Responsibilities:
  • Proactively manage project timelines, deadlines and workflows.
  • Responsible for direct conference reports, status reports and tracking of changes, approvals and direction from internal and external meetings.
  • Contribute to development of client-facing deliverables such as POVs, presentation decks and program reports.
  • Update and participate in weekly status calls/reports with client and agency partners.
  • Effectively collaborate with cross-functional and agency resource teams.
  • Monitor industry trends to support team/client/business needs.
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of client service experience.
  • Preferred experience in an agency, consumer promotions or shopper marketing
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written business communication as well as presentation skills.
  • Solid understanding and management of client/agency relationship.
  • Collaborative team player while exhibiting a high level of personal responsibility and commitment.
  • Detail-oriented and thorough in completing tasks and projects.
  • Solid organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Anticipate potential questions, problems and barriers with solutions-oriented thinking.
  • Ability to think strategically, stay level-headed and work efficiently in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrate a positive, teachable attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Willing to travel to vendor locations 3-5x per month.
