Job description

Job Title: IT Asset Management Coordinator

Location: New York, NY (Onsite)

Duration: 6+ Months (Possibility of Extension)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end lifecycle tracking of IT assets including warranty and EOL.
  • Submit purchase requisitions and collaborate with procurement teams.
  • Coordinate repairs with vendors, maintain ticketing and update issue statuses.
  • Conduct regular audits and manage data in service catalog.
  • Support TCO modeling with unit costs and inventory data.

Key Qualifications:

  • 2+ yearsโ€™ experience in technical inventory/IT hardware & software support.
  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets โ€“ VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP expertise.
  • Solid knowledge of IT asset tracking, procurement, and data entry.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (preferably JIRA).
  • Experience with hardware audits and physical counts.
  • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs and help with unboxing/setup tasks.

Nice-to-Have Skills (Preferred):

  • Familiarity with ZIP and CMDB tools.
  • Experience with vendor management and software licensing.
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
