Role Overview
Initio Sphere is seeking finance professionals to join as Private Capital Assessment Analysts.
This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through our certification and verification process.
Once approved, Private Capital Assessment Analysts:
Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
Conduct independent assessment of private capital transactions, investment opportunities, and fund structures
Support investors, fund managers, and operators with deal evaluation, risk analysis, and opportunity scoring
Prepare structured assessment reports and memos for decision-making
Build a verified deal track record and Analyst Rating Score
Certification tiers:
Senior Analyst · Lead Analyst · Analyst / Associate Analyst
Analyst Levels & Pay RangesSenior Private Capital Assessment Analyst
Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background:
Ex-investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of experience evaluating private market deals and investments.
Lead Private Capital Assessment Analyst
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of experience in deal evaluation, investment review, or portfolio assessment.
Private Capital Assessment Analyst / Associate
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong analytical skills and experience supporting deal evaluation, market analysis, or investment research.
What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)
Depending on certification approvals, Private Capital Assessment Analysts may be engaged for:
Investment & Deal Assessment
Evaluate private market investment opportunities and fund structures
Conduct financial, operational, and market due diligence
Identify risks, compliance issues, and opportunity gaps
Produce structured assessment reports and summaries for investor review
Financial Validation & Analysis
Review and validate financial models (3-statement, DCF, LBO)
Conduct sensitivity, scenario, and benchmarking analyses
Summarize findings in actionable formats for decision-making
Support for Investment Decisions
Assist in scoring and ranking deals by quality, risk, and return potential
Collaborate with senior analysts and investment teams on deal selection
Analysts may only perform work in categories they are approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment and performance—not tenure.
How Analysts Start Earning
Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training
Receive category-specific approvals (Assessment, Modeling, Due Diligence)
Get verified on the platform
Begin earning immediately through hourly projects and live deal work
No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.” Verified analysts are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors.
Certification & Eligibility
To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:
Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training
Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Analyst Rating Score
Each analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
Compensation & Deal Terms
Analysts are independent contractors, not employees
Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level
Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality, rigor, or compliance issues
