Job description

Summary:
Do you have a passion for precision mechanics and a desire to build high-performing machinery? Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in manufacturing? If so, we want you on our team! Reviva is seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our growing Engine Assembly department. In this crucial role, you'll play a vital part in assembling top-quality diesel engines, ensuring they meet our rigorous performance standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform mechanical assembly activities to required tolerances / specifications.
  • Assemble components for diesel engines meticulously, following detailed standard work, traveler instructions, and assembly procedures.
  • Function seamlessly within our assembly line, collaborating with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of production, on schedule and within budget.
  • Follow all processes according to our standard work manuals;
  • Use various hand, impact, vibrating, torquing and power tools;
  • Operate stationary or moving overhead hoists, forklifts, baskets and carts;
  • Work on a team to meet internal and external customer demand;
  • Excellent team member, communication skills;
  • Open to consider new graduate from technical school

Qualifications:
  • Prior mechanical or mechanical assembly experience required.
  • Prefer assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Someone who likes working with hands, tools, and to solve problems.
  • Prior experience building, maintaining, or fixing diesel engines is a plus.
  • Previous experience operating hand and power tools
  • Ability to follow work orders, blueprints, or schematics.

Work Environment:
Fast -paced, hands-on manufacturing setting. The environment on the shop floor is usually loud, hot and humid in the summer months and involves standing on cement floors with exposure to chemicals and metal particles. PPE required on manufacturing floor at all times.

Starting wage between $20-21/hr
