Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Follow manufacturing methods to perform normal job tasks in a safe manner under the direction of the supervisor, group leader or experienced associates in the area.
  • Work with a partner in most cases.
  • Perform general clean up to keep work area clean and organized.
  • Operate test bench and load test data in the system
  • Verify test results and promote part to final assembly and paint
  • Perform final assembly and Paint for final pump
  • Log the serial numbers for assembly and communicate with Planning and Order management the readiness for shipping
  • Follows Company's Compliance requirements.
  • Maintains and improves the quality management system.
  • Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS:
  • Regardless of other duties, the PCP Assembly & Test operator has a responsibility to follow LUFKIN production, safety, and quality procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education and Training: High school or as deemed sufficient by management
  • Technical Requirements: ability to read and interpret routine instructions; use of ERP system; basic computer skills; ability to perform basic mathematical calculations; ability to operate material moving equipment -overhead crane.
  • Experience: At least 2 years work experience in the area, or as deemed sufficient by management
