Volt is immediately hiring Wiring Associates for a global manufacturing company in El Paso, TX.
As a Wiring Associate, you will:
  • Performs wiring assembly operation of one job (from pre-arranged kit)
  • Assemble moderately to complex electro-mechanical products
  • Assemble custom switchboard cabinetry - medium to large sized parts
  • Read complex prints and schematics
  • Troubleshoot, fabricate and install parts
  • Utilizes a variety of hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment to complete job

This is a full-time opportunity.
Schedule: Monday to Friday (flexible to work OT on Saturday)
1st Shift: 6am - 2:30pm
2nd Shift: 3:30pm - 12am
The ideal candidate will have:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years previous Assembly experience
  • Experience reading prints and schematics
  • Ability to work independently
  • Expertise with basic hand tools, air tools, gages and torque wrenches required
  • Good hand eye coordination and excellent natural or corrected vision
  • Understanding of electrical principles and UL Requirements is highly desired
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to work Overtime is required
  • Pre-employment physical is required

Pay Rate:
  • 1st shift - $16.00 per hour
  • 2nd shift - $17.25 per hour
