About the Role 


Impact you will make  


The Communications & Engagement Manager plays a key role in shaping how teammates experience Aspirion every day. This position is responsible for developing and executing internal communications that keep teammates informed, connected, and aligned with our business strategy while supporting engagement, recognition, and culture-building initiatives across the organization. 


Working closely with the Director, People Strategy & Experience and executive leadership, you will help create a consistent communications rhythm and voice, strengthen leadership messaging, celebrate teammate achievements, and build meaningful experiences that reinforce our culture and values. 

Your work will directly contribute to teammate engagement, organizational alignment, leadership effectiveness, and the continued evolution of One Aspirion. 


This role is ideal for someone who combines strong writing and communication skills with creativity, project management, and an eye for creating engaging teammate experiences.  



What you will do 

  • Develop and execute Aspirion's internal communications strategy and enterprise communications calendar. 
  • Draft and distribute company-wide communications, executive announcements, Town Hall content, and People Team communications. 
  • Partner with executive leaders to develop messaging that communicates business priorities, organizational updates, and strategic initiatives. 
  • Manage Aspirinet by creating engaging content, maintaining resources, and continuously improving the teammate experience. 
  • Create manager communication toolkits that support consistent communication across departments and service lines. 
  • Lead communication planning for People initiatives including policy updates, organizational changes, engagement surveys, benefits communications, and other enterprise programs. 
  • Coordinate and promote teammate engagement initiatives including engagement surveys, recognition programs, appreciation events, and culture campaigns. 
  • Manage and evolve Aspirion's recognition program by developing communications, promoting participation, and celebrating teammate achievements. 
  • Identify and tell compelling stories that showcase teammates, business successes, customer impact, and company milestones. 
  • Measure communication effectiveness through engagement metrics, participation data, and teammate feedback, using insights to continuously improve communications.

Requirements:

What you will bring 

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications, employee communications, corporate communications, employee engagement, or a related field. 
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Experience developing executive-level communications and presentation materials. 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 
  • Experience creating communication plans for organizational initiatives and change management. 
  • Strong editing, proofreading, and storytelling abilities. 
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, PowerPoint, SharePoint or intranet platforms, and Microsoft Teams. 
  • Ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. 

What we would like to see 

  • Experience supporting executive leadership or C-suite communications. 
  • Experience in healthcare, healthcare technology, or other highly regulated industries. 
  • Experience managing employee engagement, recognition, or culture initiatives. 
  • Experience partnering with Human Resources or People teams. 
  • Graphic design, video editing, or visual storytelling experience using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. 
  • Experience managing intranet platforms, digital communication channels, and content management systems. 
  • Familiarity with change management principles and organizational communications. 
  • Experience working in a high-growth, private equity-backed, or multi-site organization.
