**Title: iSeries/ AS400 System administratorLocation: Issaquah, WA-3 days in Office Is Must****Duration: Long term****Must Have SkillsSkill 1 - 6 + Years of Exp in AS400 System administrationSkill 2 - 6 + Years of Exp in IBM Power systems and OS V7R2, V7R3,V7R4Skill 3 - Exp in LPAR installation , configuration, and VirtualizationAS400 System administration with work management, user management, journal management and performance management.• Proven experience in IBM Power systems and OS V7R2, V7R3,V7R4 .• Lead projects associated to the enhancement upgrade (System hardware, Operating system)• LPAR installation , configuration, and Virtualization.• Firmware upgrade of servers, HMCs and update BIOS• Installation of cumulative, Group PTFs , License keys and software licensed programs• Experience in Backup and Recovery Media Services (BRMS).• Knowledge of external disk addition, removal and rebuild.• Experience on device configuration, line , Optical connections• Experience in Server migrations identify the actions required to handle error messages and system reference codes.• HMC handling , Hardware related issues (Tape library, Disk failure etc.) backup issues, distribution queue errors.• Maintenance activity in the Power systems to replace any H/W or LPAR , memory addition and upgrade activity.• Disaster Recovery planning and execution.• Knowledge and experience on performance management , Capacity management• Experience with Change, Incident and Problem management process.• Experience in iSeries/Power series system refresh.• Experience in secured operation, vulnerability analysis and remediation.• Deep understanding of Compliant and Audit requirements.Thanks,****Rajinikanth Lakka****Recruitment Lead****Email:** ++Rajinikanth.l@stiorg.com++
