About the Role

Cognizant is seeking an experienced SAP MM / Logistics Consultant to join our growing SAP practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM), Logistics processes, system integrations, and SAP configuration while collaborating with global business and technology teams to deliver successful SAP solutions.

In this role you will
  • Design, configure, and support SAP MM and Logistics business processes.
  • Participate in SAP implementation and enhancement projects from requirements gathering through deployment.
  • Work with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
  • Configure SAP MM functionality and support related processes across Procurement, Inventory Management, and Logistics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP SD and FI to ensure end-to-end process integration.
  • Support and troubleshoot interfaces between SAP and non-SAP applications utilizing technologies such as EDI, file transfers, APIs, and other integration methods.
  • Lead and support global project initiatives while coordinating with business and IT teams across multiple regions.
  • Analyze business challenges and provide effective SAP-based solutions.
  • Create functional specifications and support testing, deployment, and user training activities.

What you need to have to be considered
  • Minimum 5 years of SAP MM / Logistics experience.
  • At least 1-2 full SAP implementation project experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP MM and Logistics business processes.
  • Hands-on SAP ERP MM configuration experience.
  • Experience integrating SAP with non-SAP applications using EDI, APIs, file transfer technologies, and related integration tools.
  • Cross-functional understanding of SAP SD and SAP FI modules.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with global, cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to lead complex business requirements and collaborate with business and IT stakeholders.

The annual salary for this position is between $83,600 - $129,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
