Our client is looking for an experienced AS400/RPGILE/S2K/EDI programmer to join their team Job Summary

RPG Application Developer to join our IT team and support the enterprise applications. The candidate will be responsible for requirements gathering, business analysis, problem solving, and RPG program coding on AS/400.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance RPG applications on AS400 systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and end-users, to gather requirements and design efficient solutions.
  • Write RPG code using RPG IV, RPG Free Format, RPG ILE, VAI/S2K, and CL programming languages. Any EDI experience is a plus.
  • Perform unit testing to ensure the quality and integrity of developed applications.
  • Document code changes, application functionality, and technical specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and debug RPG programs and AS400 system issues.
