Job Description Format: In-Person, 35 hours/week Internship Dates: June 2nd to August 8th Priority Deadline to Submit Resume: Friday, April 10th, 2026 Final Deadline to Submit Resume: Friday, April 24th, 2026 Pay Rate/Salary: $25 per hour Program Overview: The Lincoln Center Internship is a paid, in-person arts administration internship for NYC undergraduates and college graduates that incubates the next generation of leaders in Arts & Culture and beyond. In the programming department, interns will have a chance to support the programming team in upcoming spring events and showcases and Lincoln Center's beloved Summer for the City festival. Interns will be given insights into artist management and program curation for a large-scale, recurring summer festival that services the community of artists and patrons of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.

You'll learn project and time management, how to manage concurrent projects, problem solving skills, and insights into artist management and programming curation. Interns will also be able to survey and interpret project briefs, independently create emails and performance materials, and analyze performance data to implement feedback. This internship will run from June 2nd through August 8th.

Special Events that make Lincoln Center the world's leading performing arts center What you'll get to do: Support the Programming team on spring programming and Lincoln Center's Summer for the City festival Support includes - meet and greet performing artists, assist with wayfinding and servicing hospitality, and other assignments based on the performance Supporting Artist Services Managers and Line Producers with day-of-show tasks. Tasks could include buying hospitality riders, creating security badges, calling artists to stage and escorting them in public spaces, moving stock between venues and facilitating materials pick-up Assist with stock management and receipt reconciliation Administrative tasks including summer budgeting, project briefs, and manage emails Support ticketing/ VIP on show days We are looking for: A rising college junior, or senior, or equivalent, or college graduate Availability in the afternoons and evenings to support live events Availability to work Wednesday - Saturday evenings and daytimes on Tuesdays, up to 35 hours per week A candidate interested in artistic programming and interacting with artists The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with artists and staff members alike A candidate who has the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time and meet deadlines as needed. Ability to work independently after initial onboarding and support.
