Mentorship & Succession Opportunity (Part-Time)

Dr. Macโ€™s Medical Pain Management & Wellness Center | Woodbridge, VA

About the Opportunity

Dr. Henry A. McCleary, D.C., CSCS โ€” a U.S. Army veteran with 37+ years of clinical experience and a published author in his field โ€” is preparing for retirement and is looking for the right doctor to train as his successor.

This is a rare, hands-on residency/mentorship position. You wonโ€™t just be hired to see patients โ€” youโ€™ll be personally trained by Dr. Mac in his proprietary instrument adjusting system, a technique he has used throughout his career to help patients recover effectively and achieve lasting health. Whether youโ€™re newly licensed or already experienced, if your adjusting skills arenโ€™t where youโ€™d like them to be, thatโ€™s not a barrier here โ€” itโ€™s the whole point of the program.

What Weโ€™re Looking For

โ€ข Licensed Doctor of Chiropractic (or soon-to-be licensed)

โ€ข Open to all experience levels โ€” recent graduates and seasoned doctors alike are welcome to apply

โ€ข Coachable and open-minded โ€” willingness to learn and adopt Dr. Macโ€™s adjusting system is more important than prior technique

โ€ข Genuine interest in patient care and long-term practice growth

Position Details

โ€ข Schedule: Part-time, 8 โ€“12 hours per week

โ€ข Compensation: $1,600/month

โ€ข Growth path: Performance-based raise/compensation increase reviewed at 6 months

โ€ข Structure: Direct mentorship under Dr. McCleary, with a path toward eventually stepping into his role as he transitions into retirement

Why This Role Is Different

This isnโ€™t a standard associate position โ€” itโ€™s a succession-track mentorship designed for a doctor who wants to learn a proven, effective adjusting system from someone with decades of hands-on clinical experience, and who is interested in eventually taking over an established practice.
