Job Summary
The Senior Wellness and Allergy Manager (Registered Dietitian) plays a key role in advancing performance-driven nutrition and wellness programs in partnership with the U.S. Army. Reporting to the Vice President of Wellbeing, this on-site leader aligns wellbeing and sustainability initiatives with Army standards to strengthen soldier readiness, community wellbeing, and operational excellence.
Working closely with Army Wellness Center (AWC) and Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) teams, the Senior Wellness and Allergen Manager (Registered Dietitian) oversees the integration of key programs to enhance dining operations and promote a culture of performance nutrition and wellbeing across Army installations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the on-site nutrition and wellness leader, accountable for the full execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of wellness initiatives across assigned installations.
  • Partner with AWC, H2F, and installation leadership to design and implement integrated wellness initiatives that enhance the dining environment and support military readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with Army, DoD, USDA, and FDA nutrition and labeling standards through regular audits and performance feedback.
  • Oversee allergen management-including labeling accuracy, training, and documentation-to ensure safe and transparent dining experiences.
  • Align Compass wellness programs with Army platforms for cohesive, complementary program delivery.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with culinary, operations, and wellness teams to embed nutrition principles into menu planning, events, and daily foodservice operations.
  • Partner with installation wellness leaders to monitor outcomes, drive engagement, and continuously improve program effectiveness.
  • Lead inclusive, evidence-based wellness education and engagement initiatives-training associates, mentoring staff, and collaborating with AWC and installation teams to deliver immersive events, health fairs, and other activations that inspire healthier eating, strengthen readiness, and align with Army and Compass wellness objectives.
  • Support sustainability and responsible sourcing goals through commitments that reduce waste and environmental impact.
  • Utilize digital tools and data analytics to manage compliance, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement-conducting audits, reporting outcomes, and identifying innovations in menu design, wellbeing programming, and performance fueling to enhance readiness and engagement.

Qualifications:
  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration; state licensure where applicable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
  • ServeSafe certification (training provided).
  • Strong background in allergen management, menu labeling, and wellness programming preferred.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and data analysis skills to drive measurable wellness outcomes.
