Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Area Manager to oversee and manage our janitorial services across multiple locations. The Area Manager will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of janitorial services, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, managing a team of janitorial staff, and fostering positive client relationships. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering top-quality service.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Lead and manage a team of janitorial staff across various locations, ensuring that all cleaning services are executed according to established standards and guidelines.
  • Quality Assurance: Regularly inspect and assess the cleanliness and maintenance of facilities to ensure compliance with company standards and client expectations.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise janitorial personnel, providing clear guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Scheduling: Develop and maintain staffing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for all assigned locations, taking into consideration workload, special events, and client needs.

  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage janitorial supplies and equipment inventory, ensuring that all sites are adequately stocked and equipped for efficient operations. Managers are responsible for ordering supplies and/or equipment for their locations.
  • Client Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients by addressing their concerns, providing regular updates on service progress, and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Budget Oversight: Collaborate with the management team to develop and manage budgets for janitorial services, controlling costs while delivering exceptional service quality.
