Job description

Account Manager (Outside Sales) – Warden-Kennewick Washington

Build relationships. Work in the field. Grow your career.

$55,000 Base Salary + Commission

Agri-Stor Companies is expanding, and we’re looking for a motivated Account Manager to join our team in Warden, along with working in the Kennewick Washington area.  As a trusted partner to agricultural customers for over 50 years, we provide innovative post-harvest storage solutions—and we’re proud of the long-term relationships we’ve built along the way.

If you enjoy working independently, being hands-on, and building meaningful customer relationships, this is an opportunity to step into a dynamic, field-based sales role with strong earning potential and long-term stability.

______________________________________________________________________________________________________

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing customers
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within your territory
  • Sell industry-leading post-harvest solutions, including:
    • Storage ventilation and refrigeration systems
    • Controls and automation
    • Chemical applications such as disinfectants and sprout control
  • Visit customer sites regularly to inspect equipment and storage conditions
  • Track sales activity and manage your pipeline using CRM software
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure excellent service and follow-through

________________________________________________________________________________________________________

What the Role Is Like

  • Primarily field-based—most of your time will be spent on customer sites, not in an office
  • Daily travel throughout a large service area, with occasional overnight trips
  • Seasonal workload, including evenings and some weekends during harvest
  • Hands-on work in potato and onion storage environments

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________

What You Bring

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Organized, dependable, and goal-oriented
  • Ability to learn technical products and solutions
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

Preferred (but not required):

  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • Agricultural background or experience with chemical application
  • Bachelor’s degree

You will have the opportunity to sell to long-time customers and acquire new ones in targeted areas, industries, and markets.

  • Our insurance company requires drug testing and background checking.  You must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record, as you will be driving a company vehicle (we work with the DMV to check the status).  The driving record will be performed before offer letter is considered/given.  Employment is contingent upon a clean drug and background check.

Company Benefits

You will receive competitive pay, commissions, and bonuses. We also offer health benefits, paying 75% of your monthly health insurance premium (100% after 5 years). We offer optional dental and vision coverage, paid time off, company-provided vehicle, company career apparel and clothing allowances, and an IRA program with up to a 3% company match.

To be considered as a candidate, please visit our Careers site to apply and upload your resume and cover letter. We look forward to having you join our growing family.
