Facilities Manager

Precision Orthopedics & Sports Medicine

Location: Fulton, MD + travel to sites 50-75% of time

Full-time - Monday- Friday

About the Facilities Manager role:

The Facilities Manager oversees all aspects of facility operations across all orthopedic clinics and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) throughout Maryland. This role ensures safe, compliant, efficient, and well‑maintained environments for patients and staff while supporting organizational growth, including M&A facility integration and new buildouts.

Core Responsibilities
  • Facility Operations Oversight — Lead daily facility management for 16 clinics and 2 ASCs, ensuring smooth, safe, and compliant operations.

  • Buildouts & Renovations — Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects, remodels, and expansions from concept through completion.

  • Office Relocations — Oversee logistics, vendor coordination, timelines, and operational continuity for clinic or administrative office moves.

  • Maintenance Coordination — Serve as the liaison for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance vendors; ensure timely response and quality work.

  • Vendor Management — Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships for facility services and equipment.

  • Leasehold Improvements — Coordinate landlord‑related improvements, ensuring alignment with operational needs and lease requirements.

  • Preventative Maintenance — Implement and track preventative maintenance programs, including medical equipment such as X‑Ray systems.

  • Regulatory & Life Safety — Ensure compliance with life safety codes, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements across all sites.

  • M&A Facility Integration — Lead facility onboarding, assessment, and integration activities for newly acquired practices.


Qualifications
  • Experience managing multi‑site healthcare or clinical facilities strongly preferred

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to coordinate multiple vendors and contractors

  • Knowledge of life safety, regulatory compliance, and healthcare facility standards

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
