Your Mission:

In this role, you will develop design concepts and produce construction documents and specifications for a range of projects. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local codes. Aligns design solutions with business strategies, brand standards, equipment, signage, and technology requirements. Supports vendor selection, contract negotiations, and project reporting through clear written and verbal communication.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Develops and delivers creative design concepts, drawings, and documentation for assigned projects.

  • Ensures all workcomplies withregulatory requirements, quality standards, and best practices.

  • Collaborates with marketing to integrate brand strategy and consumer insights into architectural and graphic design solutions.

  • Ensures alignment of business strategies and initiatives with design, equipment,signageand technology.

  • Oversee signage program and coordinate with vendors and internal teams.

  • Maintains and evolves brand prototypes, remodel standards, and design templates.

  • Coordinates with franchisees, internal stakeholders, and external partners to define site-specific requirements and secure required approvals.

  • Participate in project reviews focused on cost, budget, and schedule adherence.

  • Provides clear written updates on specifications, progress, and design deliverables.

  • Select and specify interior finishes, including color palettes, materials, lighting, and furnishings.

  • Researchesanddevelopsdesign solutions for non-standardrestaurantformats and presents recommendations.

  • Produces architectural, interior design, and space planning documents to support new and modified design solutions.

  • Oversee vendor relationships to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.

  • Managethe day-to-day workflow of departmental architectural projects, serving as a senior resource for complex or advanced inquiries.

  • Leads and supportsspecialprojects as assigned.

  • Collaborates on developing programs thatbenefitthe department,i.e.methods toexpeditedrawings,facilitateproject flow, etc.

  • Supportsdepartment leadership in presenting (verbal and written) architectural policies and standards to franchisees and internal teams.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor'sdegree in Architecture, Engineering,Designora relatedfield.

  • Minimumof(10) tenyears of professional architecture and design experience.

  • Experience withconstruction industry standards and scheduling.

  • Proficiencyin AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator,InDesign),Lumion,Twinmotionand Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability totravel,some overnight travel may berequired.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Master's degree in Architectureor related field.

  • Commercial/Retail/Restaurant architecture and design experience.

  • RegisteredArchitect.

  • Experience usingAutodesk Revit, Lumion and AI (Artificial Intelligence) for architectural practices.

  • NCARB Certification (National Council of Architectural Registration Boards).

  • LEED Certification (Leadership in Energy & Environmental).
