Job description

Technical Source is seeking an experienced Architectural Superintendent to support a major life sciences manufacturing project currently entering its most visible and critical phase—interior finishes, clean room installation, and high-end facility completion.

This is an opportunity to join a high-performing, collaborative construction team working on a cutting-edge facility featuring clean room space, advanced laboratory and office fit-out, and premium interior and exterior finishes. The project is progressing ahead of schedule and offers a stable, well-supported environment where quality, safety, and teamwork are prioritized. If you enjoy overseeing detailed finishes, working in regulated environments, and leading field execution on complex projects, this role offers the chance to make a visible impact on a landmark facility.

What You'll Do

As an Architectural Superintendent, you will help lead the transition from structural completion to final facility readiness. Your focus will be on interior finishes, clean room systems, and high-quality construction execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee execution of interior finishes including drywall, framing, wall systems, ceilings, flooring, and casework
  • Coordinate and monitor clean room installation activities to maintain quality and compliance standards
  • Manage finishing work across laboratories, office areas, and support spaces
  • Supervise trade partners and ensure performance, safety, and quality expectations are met
  • Monitor progress against schedule and identify risks or issues early
  • Maintain strong documentation and communication with project leadership
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and participate in daily safety stand-ups
  • Support punch list completion and final inspection readiness
  • Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented project culture

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a field leader who is comfortable working in complex, high-quality construction environments and can confidently manage detailed finishing work.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or Project Manager in construction
  • Experience overseeing interior finishes such as drywall, framing, casework, flooring, or ceiling systems
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and trade coordination
  • Commitment to safety and quality on active job sites
  • Ability to work onsite full-time and support a consistent project schedule

Preferred Experience

Candidates with the following backgrounds will stand out:

  • Clean room, life sciences, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or advanced manufacturing construction
  • Experience working on regulated or high-specification facilities
  • Exposure to projects with sustainability or certification goals (e.g., LEED or similar standards)
  • Familiarity with specialized finishes such as epoxy coatings or controlled-environment construction
  • OSHA 30 certification or similar safety training

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • High-visibility project with premium finishes and modern facility design
  • Collaborative team culture focused on safety and shared success
  • Consistent schedule and predictable workload
  • Opportunity to contribute to a landmark facility in a growing industry
