About the company: Our client is a growing architecture firm in East Texas, focused on creating healthy, inspiring environments for commercial and residential clients.

Position overview:

  • Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Project Manager to lead and coordinate projects from concept through completion.
  • This is a full-time, on-site role in East Texas.
  • You will generate and manage construction documents in AutoCAD, oversee schedules and budgets, and guide projects through permitting, bidding, and construction administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and manage architectural projects from concept through construction.
  • Produce detailed construction drawings in AutoCAD.
  • Coordinate with and review the work of assistant project managers and drafters.
  • Lead projects through permitting and bidding; interface with city officials.
  • Support construction administration, including RFIs and field issues.
  • Communicate directly with clients and manage expectations.
  • Track project schedules and basic budgets.

Required qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of architectural project management experience.
  • Strong AutoCAD proficiency; able to independently produce full construction document sets.
  • Experience with permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Professional degree in Architecture or related field; licensure or on licensure track a plus.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring drafters/assistant PMs.
  • Interest in helping grow a small firm and building client relationships.

Compensation and benefits:

  • Base salary
  • Commission opportunity (~10% on fees for projects brought in).
  • Discretionary annual bonuses.
  • Simple IRA with up to 3% company match.
  • PTO and standard holidays.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday approx. 7:30am - 5:30pm; half-day Fridays.
