Job description

IOWA SPEEDWAY

Located near Des Moines, Iowa Speedway joined the NASCAR family of tracks in 2013. Known as the "Fastest Short Track on the Planet", Iowa Speedway plays host to two major race weekends a year, welcoming the ARCA Menards Series and the NTT INDYCAR Series. The track was designed by NASCAR Hall of Famer Rusty Wallace.

Iowa Speedway is currently seeking seasonal event operations staff to assist with the NASCAR race weekend.

Qualified candidates job duties will be responsible for:

Event Duties
Checking in/checking out event staff and ensuring appropriate attire and
equipment is issued.
Preparing credential documents leading into event and execute the
disbursement and collection of credentials per company policies on event days.
Working with promoters to manage the organization / operation of the
credential buildings on event weekend.

Qualified candidate must maintain a positive attitude at all times, must be able to pay close attention to detail, have general computer skills, must be flexible to fill in where needed and work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work event weekend.

Other Skills, Abilities, and/or Qualifications:
Minimum age 18 years old.
Strong communication skills including written reports.
Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions for extended periods.
Reliable transportation to and from the track location.

Must be available during August 7 - 9 for NASCAR race weekend.
