Job description

Position: Arborist/Sales Representative โ€“ Full Time
Department: Homer Tree Care, Inc.
Job Summary: The Sales Representative/Arborist is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships. This includes but is not limited to visiting clientโ€™s properties, assessing clients tree/plant needs, and preparing proposals for current and potential clients. The Sales Representative/Arborist must have a working knowledge of tree care related equipment necessary to complete the assigned tasks
Duties amp; Responsibilities:
  • Perform all sales within a defined sales territory
  • Meet and strive to exceed sales expectations
  • Prepares proposals for potential clients
  • Aids in development and implementation of PHC programs
  • Aids in development and implementation of safety programs
  • Identifies and treats pest infested and diseased trees
  • Applies pesticides and specialized tree fertilizers
  • Maintains constant communication with clients to ensure client satisfaction
  • Inspects and maintains all equipment
Qualifications:
  • ISA Arborist Certification
  • 3-5 years of related experience in the tree care industry or prior sales experience
  • Clean driving record with no moving violations
  • Knowledge of trees, insects, amp; diseases
  • Familiar with proper pruning standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Strong knowledge of industry safety standards.
  • Degree in Agriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Environmental Science, or Plant Science preferred but not required.

  • Starting salary is $60-80k
  • Pay is determined by experience, skill, education, and other factors
