The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience overseeing commercial tree maintenance activities, including tree pruning, tree removal, and stump removal. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining safe, high-quality arboricultural practices.

We are seeking an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist to lead and oversee tree maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of experience supervising commercial tree care projects and possess strong knowledge of arboricultural best practices, safety standards, and equipment operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate commercial tree maintenance operations, including tree pruning, tree removal, and stump removal, while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Lead and manage field crews by assigning daily tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, industry standards, and established safety procedures.
  • Conduct site inspections and tree assessments to determine appropriate maintenance methods, identify potential hazards, and ensure proper use and maintenance of arboricultural tools and equipment.
  • Perform quality control inspections to verify that all tree maintenance activities meet project specifications, environmental guidelines, and client expectations while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work, equipment usage, and safety compliance, and communicate project progress with management as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Current International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist certification.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience supervising commercial tree maintenance operations, including tree pruning, tree removal, and stump removal.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage field personnel and multiple work assignments.
  • Thorough understanding of arboricultural practices, tree risk assessment, safety regulations, and the operation of tree care equipment and machinery.
