Job description

Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center is a hospital dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare to the Hope, Arkansas community and surrounding areas. We offer a full range of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic services, as well as a 24-hour emergency department, an inpatient geriatric behavioral health unit, physical therapy, inpatient pharmacy services, and a Rural Health Clinic.
Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center is in search of an experienced PRN Physical Therapist Assistant.
Essential Functions:
1. Adheres to the Standards of Practice for Physical Therapy and Code of Ethics established by AR PT Board.
2. Provides a safe, therapeutic environment under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
3. Provides a positive environment for patients within the milieu, which includes all aspects of patient care activities.
4. Provides accurate data entry.
Secondary Functions:
All other duties required or assigned by management
Qualifications:
  • Education/Skills:Graduate of Accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
  • Licensure:Current AR state licensure as Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Current BLS, CPI or COAP within 90 days of hire
  • Experience:At least one year experience as a PTA preferred
