We are looking for a motivated Application Developer ready to take us to the next level! If you have 6+ years of software web development experience (full stack) and expertise in Java and Python, and are looking for your next career move, apply now.

Job Description

We are looking for an Application Developer to design, build, and maintain healthcare data integrations across systems, leveraging Java and Python. This position will be Full-Time and Hybrid (3 days onsite) and is a 1+ year contract engagement.

Only candidates not requiring sponsorship now or in the future will be considered.

An onsite interview is required.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze, design, code, and perform component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team

  • Design and develop key/critical modules within the client's system

  • Work closely with technical and product teams to ensure seamless data interoperability between internal and third-party health systems

  • Provide accurate estimates for design and programming efforts for system changes and enhancements

  • Identify appropriate business examples to illustrate key concepts/features

  • Ensure that technical documentation and artifacts are accurately prepared, maintained, and cataloged

  • Collaborate with functional groups both internally (e.g., project management, network operations) and externally to provide tightly integrated solutions for web applications and backend systems

  • Develop new upgrades and features for the existing application

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Minimum 6+ years of software web development (full stack) experience and at least 5+ years using Java

  • Experience with integration of Microservices applications (RESTful APIs)

  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript, Bootstrap, AJAX, and JSON

  • End-to-end development experience with Java, Java/Spring Boot RESTful APIs, and NPM

  • Agile development experience or equivalent in a fast-paced development environment

  • Experience in developing real-time web applications

  • Full-time professional work experience in Information Technology

Preferred:

  • Experience in healthcare systems and data interoperability

  • Familiarity with technical documentation and maintaining technical artifacts

  • 2+ years of experience with Angular UI development preferred

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

  • Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

$58.00 - $60.00 per hour

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
