The Hours:

Full-time, Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

After-hours / Weekend on-call rotation required.

Typical Day as a Maintenance Technician:

  • Provide high-quality customer service for our residents
  • Diagnose, and perform minor repairs and routine maintenance as directed, involving but not limited to the following:
  • Electrical, air conditioning, and heating systems
  • Plumbing to include water lines, boilers, gas and electric
  • Water irrigation systems
  • Gas fixtures and/or appliances where applicable
  • Patios, stairs, railing, and gates
  • Interior and exterior lighting fireplaces and ceiling fans
  • Interior and exterior doors, shutters, cabinets, windows, and sliding glass doors.
  • Door locks and security systems were applicable
  • Maintain accurate records regarding preventive maintenance, service requests, make-ready status, and work-in-progress status
  • Maintain adequate inventory of supplies
  • Perform any other tasks as deemed necessary by management


The Qualifications:

  • Experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, painting/drywall, carpentry, and appliance repair
  • The ability to work fluidly in both a team environment and by oneself
  • Positive attitude and a passion for building relationships with both residents and team members
  • Faces problems head-on and utilizes various resources to find a solution
  • Skills from the following industries transition well to this role: industrial mechanics, home improvement, engineers, trade apprentices, and carpentry
