We are seeking a Line Cook to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort.


Role Summary:

The Line Cook(s) are responsible for planning, prepping, setting up and providing quality service in all areas of food production for menu items. The ideal candidate must maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment, while exemplifying the philosophy and mission of Eau Resort & Spa.

We have a full-time position available.

This role is a flexible position (AM / PM), and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights.

The position is designated for our dining outlet, Angle Restaurant.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
  • Certification of culinary training or apprenticeship.
  • 5 yearsโ€™ experience as a line cook in 4 star or higher rated restaurant.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management to ensure mutual understanding.
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to provide legible communication.

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize, organizes, delegate work and follow through.
  • Ability to be a clear thinker, remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure of meeting production schedules and timelines for guestsโ€™ orders.
  • Ability to maintain good coordination
  • Workstation:
    • Transporting pots and pans of food from storage/prep areas to the serving line.
    • Ability to work a 10-12-hour shift in hot, noisy and sometimes close conditions.
    • Ability to transport cases of received goods to the ability to work with all products and food ingredients involved.
    • Ability to use all senses and good judgment to ensure quality standards are met.
    • Ability to differentiate dates.
    • Ability to operate, clean and maintain all equipment required in job functions and identify when it is broken or in poor repair.
    • Ability to comprehend, follow, expand, and condense recipes
    • Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
