Position Summary:ย 
Vineyards Country Club is seeking a highly organized, service-oriented Assistant Spa Manager to support the daily operations of our luxury spa. This position works closely with the Spa Manager to ensure exceptional guest experiences through effective leadership, scheduling, inventory management, payroll administration, purchasing, and front desk operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-end environment while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, guest service, and operational excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:ย 
  • Assist the Spa Manager in the daily operation of the spa, ensuring exceptional guest service and operational efficiency.
  • Supervise and support spa receptionists, technicians, and attendants while promoting a positive, team-oriented work environment.
  • Become proficient in all spa services, treatments, retail products, and membership offerings.
  • Train and mentor front desk staff on guest service standards, scheduling procedures, software systems, and retail sales.
  • Communicate promotions, special events, and operational updates to the spa team.
  • Coordinate staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and maximize productivity.
  • Assist with payroll processing by reviewing employee timecards and payroll information on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Complete accurate monthly inventories of professional and retail products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and prepare supply orders for Spa Manager approval to ensure adequate stock of retail and treatment supplies.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all spa areas, including treatment rooms, reception, locker rooms, and retail displays.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure the spa is always maintained in a โ€œshow-readyโ€ condition.
  • Report maintenance and facility concerns promptly to the Spa Manager.
  • Promote spa services, retail products, and special events to increase guest engagement and revenue.
  • Address guest concerns promptly, professionally, and courteously, ensuring appropriate follow-up within 24 hours when necessary.
  • Solicit guest feedback to continually improve the overall spa experience.
  • Process guest charges accurately for services, retail products, and memberships.
  • Attend department meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the Spa operation.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an Assistant Spa Manager or Spa Supervisor role within a luxury spa, resort, country club, or medical spa.
  • Experience with scheduling, payroll administration, inventory management, purchasing, and retail sales.
  • Experience working in a luxury hospitality environment is preferred.
