What You'll Do

A Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of a construction project, from planning to completion. Core duties include:

  • Develop detailed project plan, timelines, and milestones, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and deadlines are achievable.
  • Estimate costs (Pre Con), manage budgets, control expenses, and forecast financial requirements to keep projects within budget.
  • Lead and supervise multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring effective collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Negotiate and oversee contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors, ensuring compliance with agreements.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and local building codes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, executives, and onsite teams, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
  • Identify potential risks, implement mitigation strategies, and resolve issues that arise during construction.
  • Maintain accurate records, including contracts, change orders, permits, and progress reports.
What You'll Bring
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is not required, if experiences of 7+ years in the field, apprenticeship or similar education or experience in Complete Construction Projects.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are highly advantageous.
  • Several years of experience in construction management or supervisory roles are necessary to handle large-scale projects effectively.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations is critical.
