Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Organize projects in the field and maintain active knowledge of project parameters.
  • Obtain and study the project drawings and specifications, including the scope of work as defined by our contract with the General contractor.
  • Maintain open communication with the General contractor and attend project meetings.
  • Maintain records, documents, and approved submittals. Notify the project manager if there are missing submittals.
  • Maintain a daily log of potential changes or back charges and unusual circumstances that may warrant attention. Report back charges and change orders to the project managers. If the project manager agrees to change the order, then fill out a change order request and submit it to the project manager to include in monthly billings before the 20th of every month. Maintain a log of all Change order requests (COR).
  • Write and submit all requests for information (RFI’s) and maintain a log of all RFI’s.
  • Maintain a clean work site.
  • Install plumbing systems.
  • Train journeymen, apprentices, and laborers.
  • Supervise all Jet personnel for whom you are responsible. Report tardiness and disciplinary issues to the general manager.
  • Maintain a daily record of timesheets for all Jet employees that you are responsible for. Submit timesheets to the office. Sign off on all timesheets before submitting them to the office.
  • Maintain a positive workplace; coordinate in advance with other trades, especially other Jet divisions. Resolve issues between other Jet divisions before reporting to the General contractor.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • 2+ years of Plumbing Foreman Experience preferred
  • Experience with large commercial, mixed-use, apartment, remodel, and TI projects
  • Ability to read and follow plans and specs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the direct crew, maximize efficiency, meet project schedules, and deliver high-quality projects on time
  • Basic Proficiency in English required. Candidates must have a basic understanding of English for safety purposes and to communicate with colleagues, vendors, and contractors on-site effectively. The ability to follow instructions and engage with the team is essential for success in this role.
