Seeking Fire Sprinkler Designer in Denver, CO (Aurora)

Join us at Arapahoe Fire Protection and our team of talented and experienced designers!

Established Fire Sprinkler Company seeking immediate hire for a Fire Sprinkler Designer position. Must have Design experience in the Fire Sprinkler Industry.

Founded in 1989, Arapahoe Fire Protection is a leading fire protection company with offices in Aurora, Colorado Springs, and Wheat Ridge Colorado. We are seeking candidates who are looking for a company that they can growth with. We are a family-owned company who values its employees and is looking for future leaders at our business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviewing construction contract documents and coordinate with subcontractors and General Contractors/Owners to gather the required information to design project sprinkler systems.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable NFPA standards, local and national building codes, and the scope of the work based on the project documents and specifications
  • Work with sales to provide technical support and estimating guidance where needed

SKILLS:

  • 2+ years of experience in fire sprinkler design
  • Knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems, fire protection regulatory standards, and state and local codes
  • Technical understanding and knowledge of automatic sprinkler systems and components
  • NICET certification preferred
  • Proficiency in AutoSprink preferred
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to perform work in an efficient and organized matter and maintain thorough records
  • Proven ability and track record of performing work in a timely manner and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills, including ability to communicate effectively, and work collaboratively among our team
  • Ability to professionally communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
