Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer for a direct hire opportunity in the West Valley City, UT area. This role is ideal for a motivated fire protection design professional who wants to grow in a stable, team-oriented construction environment while contributing to safe, code-compliant fire sprinkler systems for commercial, residential, and industrial facilities.
The Fire Sprinkler Designer will work closely with project teams to interpret construction plans, create accurate sprinkler system layouts, and support high-quality project delivery. This opportunity offers strong compensation, a yearly bonus, benefits, and a positive onsite work environment with supportive leadership, collaborative teammates, and room for continued career development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial, residential, and industrial construction projects.
- Prepare sprinkler layouts and design documentation using AutoCAD and HydraCAD.
- Review and interpret architectural, structural, and construction plans to develop accurate system designs.
- Work with wet, dry, pre-action, and other fire sprinkler system types.
- Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and other design professionals to support timely and accurate project completion.
- Help ensure designs align with applicable codes, project specifications, and quality standards.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $70,000 to $110,000 per year, based on experience.
