Door Doctor, membre du groupe Sentinel, est à la recherche d’un Chef d’équipe – Technicien de service qui est fier de son travail et souhaite contribuer à une entreprise en pleine évolution.

Vos Responsabilities:

  • Encadrer et former les apprentis techniciens de service afin de contribuer au développement de la relève
  • Diagnostiquer, dépanner et réparer les portes industrielles, systèmes de quais de chargement et équipements connexes - en assurant des opérations sécuritaires et efficaces
  • Effectuer des travaux de soudure et de fabrication sur site pour soutenir des installations et réparations de qualité
  • Compléter avec précision les bons de travail, rapports d’inspection et la documentation (incluant les photos de chantier)
  • Prendre en charge vos outils et équipements - veiller à ce qu’ils soient bien entretenus, sécuritaires et prêts à l’utilisation
  • Être un ambassadeur de la sécurité et de l’expérience client sur chaque intervention
  • Collaborer avec les membres de l’équipe sur des installations et appels de service plus complexes
  • Assurer une communication claire avec les clients et les équipes internes afin de faire avancer les projets efficacement

Votre Profil:

  • Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience en tant que chef d’équipe dans les systèmes de quais de chargement et les portes commerciales
  • Expérience pratique en soudure, avec capacité à effectuer des réparations sur mesure sur site
  • Permis de conduire valide, avec un bon dossier de conduite et un moyen de transport fiable
  • Solides aptitudes mécaniques - aisance avec les outils manuels, électriques et le dépannage sur le terrain
  • À l’aise de travailler en hauteur et dans des environnements dynamiques et physiquement exigeants
  • Attitude positive, esprit d’équipe et volonté de soutenir les autres pour accomplir le travail correctement

Door Doctor, part of the Sentinel group, is looking for a Lead Hand, Service Technician who takes pride in doing quality work and wants to be part of something that’s growing.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor Service Technician Apprentices, helping develop the next generation of skilled trades professionals
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair overhead doors, loading dock systems, and related equipment - keeping operations running safely and efficiently
  • Perform on-site welding and fabrication to support high-quality installations and repairs
  • Accurately complete work orders, inspection reports, and site documentation, including photos
  • Take ownership of your tools and equipment- ensuring everything is well-maintained, safe, and ready to go
  • Champion safety and customer experience on every job, delivering work you can stand behind
  • Support and collaborate with teammates on more complex installs and service calls
  • Communicate clearly with both customers and internal teams to keep projects moving and expectations aligned

What you Bring:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Lead Hand working with loading dock systems and commercial overhead doors
  • Hands-on welding experience, with the ability to support on-site repairs and custom work
  • Valid, clean driver’s license with reliable transportation to get you to and from job sites
  • Strong mechanical aptitude - you’re confident using hand tools, power tools, and troubleshooting on the fly
  • Comfortable working at heights and in fast-paced, physically active environments
  • A positive, team-first mindset with a willingness to step up, support others, and get the job done right
