Job Description
Appointment Setter is to generate sales either by cold calling or answering requests in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for influencing potential customers to meet with our Business Consultants.
A successful Appointment Setter must be friendly and persuasive. You must be able to understand the customerโ€™s requirements in a short time and present solutions that meet their needs. The ideal candidate will also be patient and cool-tempered to deal with aggressiveness and complaints.
The goal is to promote business growth by expanding the companyโ€™s clientele.
Job Duties:
- Deliver prepared sales talks that describe services, in order to persuade potential customers to meet with Business Consultants.
- Contact businesses by telephone in order to solicit sales for services.
- Explain services and answer questions from customers.
- Obtain customer information such as name, address, what they do, who currently handles payroll and how many employees.
- Record names, addresses, and reactions of prospects contacted.
- Telephone or write letters to respond to correspondence from customers or to follow up initial sales contacts.
- Maintain records of contacts, accounts, and appointments.
- Schedule appointments for sales representatives to meet with prospective customers or for customers to attend sales presentations.
Appointment Setter will receive a bonus for every demonstration appointment set for a business consultant. The will also receive a bonus if the prospect becomes a client and runs their 1st payroll.
Bonuses to be paid the following week of confirmed appointment and /or 1st payroll ran.
Maximum salary will be based on number of appointments set and number of clients sold.
