We are looking for kind, compassionate, caring, mature and responsible caregivers to join our growing team. We provide companion & personal care for each client in their residence. We are looking for someone to work smaller shifts in Valpo, Chesterton, Portage area.

- Must have the ability to follow direction, communicate all issues and log daily notes.

- Must pass a complete background-check, including a check of criminal and driving records.
- Must pass a drug/alcohol screening.
- Must complete a 2-Step TB Test
- Must have a safe vehicle, valid drivers license and current auto insurance.
- Must be 18 years of age and are legally able to work in the United States.
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities Include:
-Understand and adhere to established FirstLight Home Care policies and procedures.
-Perform personal care as assigned.
-Report changes in the client's condition and any needs to supervisor.
-Perform household services for the client as assigned.
-Perform non-medical services and support for the client as needed.
-Assist with self-administered medications as assigned.
-Attend training and quarterly meetings as scheduled.
-Arrive to assigned client on-time and as scheduled.
