Job description

About Fasturtle

Fasturtle is a 25-year-old full-service digital marketing agency headquartered in Phoenix, AZ. We partner with home services companies, HVAC, landscaping, garage and closet design firms, and medical practices to drive consistent, high-quality leads through SEO, paid media, and social. We're a Google Partner with a track record of delivering 10% Google Ads conversion rates — nearly 3x the national average.

We're growing fast and need a sharp, persistent, people-first Appointment Setter to join us in-house and help turn outreach into booked sales conversations.

The Role

As our in-house Appointment Setter, you're the first voice prospects hear. Your job is to follow up on outbound and inbound leads, qualify decision-makers, and get qualified sales appointments on the CEO's calendar. You'll work out of our Phoenix office and be a key part of our business development pipeline.

What You’ll Do

• Make outbound calls and send follow-up emails to warm and cold leads from our CRM (GoHighLevel)

• Follow up on inbound inquiries promptly — speed-to-contact matters

• Qualify prospects by asking the right questions about their business, marketing needs, and decision-making authority

• Book qualified discovery calls on the CEO’s calendar — confirmed, not tentative

• Log all activity accurately in GoHighLevel after every touchpoint

• Execute proven outreach cadences and scripts (training provided); suggest improvements as you learn what works

• Coordinate with the sales lead to ensure smooth handoffs before every booked call

• Report daily on calls made, conversations had, and appointments booked

What Makes an Appointment “Qualified” (Bonus-Eligible)

The $50 per-appointment bonus applies when the prospect meets ALL of the following:

• Decision-maker confirmed (owner, partner, or marketing director)

• Business actively spends on marketing or is actively seeking a marketing partner

• Appointment kept — prospect shows up to the scheduled call

• Monthly budget of $1,500+ or is open to discussing investment

Who You Are

• Confident and comfortable on the phone — you don’t wait to be called back, you call again

• Organized and consistent — you follow a cadence without being told twice

• Coachable — you take feedback and apply it immediately

• Honest — you qualify prospects accurately, not just to hit a number

• Competitive but not pushy — you know the difference between persistence and pressure

• Tech-comfortable — CRM experience preferred, especially GoHighLevel

Requirements

• 1+ year of phone-based sales, customer service, or appointment setting experience

• Ability to work in-office in Phoenix, AZ (not a remote role)

• Available 20–32 hours per week (schedule to be determined with manager)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Reliable and punctual — this role depends on daily consistency

• CRM experience a plus; GoHighLevel training provided

Compensation & Schedule

• Base pay: $18.00 per hour

• Performance bonus: $50 for every qualified appointment booked and kept. $100 for every order signed

• Hours: Part-time, 20–32 hours per week

• Location: In-office, Phoenix, AZ

• Strong performers have room to grow into a full-time role
