Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the product application roadmap by developing a deep understanding of customer technologies, challenges, and future requirements.
  • Serve as the technical lead for complex application development activities, customer engagements, and cross-functional project teams.
  • Drive execution of beta-site evaluations, customer demonstrations, and proof-of-concept activities, ensuring alignment with Statements of Work (SOWs) and project schedules.
  • Partner with customers to analyze technical requirements, define success criteria, and manage implementation timelines.
  • Develop and approve application support plans to ensure successful product installation and deployment.
  • Create and implement new methodologies to optimize system performance for specific customer applications.
  • Analyze, develop, validate, and transfer new application capabilities from product development teams to customer-facing application support organizations.
  • Lead technical reviews, presentations, and problem-solving discussions with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and address complex technical challenges, leveraging advanced analytical skills to develop innovative solutions.
  • Lead functional projects and teams with moderate levels of complexity, risk, and resource requirements.
  • Influence product, operational, and customer success objectives through technical expertise and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field preferred. (Master's degree with relevant industry experience may also be considered.)
  • Experience in semiconductor inspection, metrology, testing, or advanced packaging applications strongly preferred.
  • Experience working directly with semiconductor customers, supporting product evaluations, installations, and application development is highly desirable.
  • Advanced expertise in a specialized technical discipline, with the ability to apply deep knowledge to solve complex customer challenges.
  • Proven experience interpreting business and technical requirements and translating them into effective solutions, processes, or product enhancements.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams, projects, and customer engagements.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems using innovative and analytical approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present complex concepts, influence stakeholders, and negotiate technical solutions.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
