Job description

Position Summary
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides clinical leadership and oversight of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services delivered in accordance with Minnesota DHS and EIDBI requirements, BACB ethical standards, and HIPAA regulations. This role includes assessment, treatment planning, supervision, caregiver collaboration, progress monitoring, and documentation to support high-quality, compliant care.
This position is primarily center-based in Woodbury with limited hybrid flexibility for assessment-related work and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Assessment & Treatment Planning
  • Conduct initial assessments, reassessments, and clinically indicated Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
  • Develop, implement, and update Individual Treatment Plans (ITPs) and behavior intervention plans aligned with EIDBI standards
  • Design skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs that support meaningful, functional outcomes
Program Oversight & Data-Driven Care
  • Monitor treatment implementation and client progress through ongoing data collection, graphing, and analysis
  • Modify programming based on objective data and clinical judgment
  • Complete progress summaries, treatment updates, and required documentation within established timelines
Supervision & Staff Support
  • Provide clinical supervision and feedback to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other direct care staff
  • Train staff on treatment protocols, ethical practice, and accurate data collection
  • Support staff development and maintain supervision requirements in accordance with BACB and DHS guidelines
Family Collaboration & Integrated Care
  • Partner with families and caregivers to establish goals, review progress, and provide caregiver training
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (OT, SLP, psychology) to support coordinated care
  • Communicate clearly and professionally while maintaining confidentiality
Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and audit-ready clinical records
  • Adhere to DHS, EIDBI, BACB, and HIPAA standards
  • Participate in clinical reviews and quality improvement activities as needed
Qualifications
Required
  • Masterโ€™s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a closely related field
  • Current BCBA certification in good standing
  • Minnesota Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or willingness to obtain prior to start date
  • Ability to meet DHS background study requirements
  • Experience working with children with developmental or behavioral needs
  • Strong clinical writing, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred
  • Experience providing or supervising ABA services under EIDBI
  • Experience with caregiver training and interdisciplinary collaboration
Schedule & Work Environment
