Applications Specialist to join our team!
Applications Specialist
Job Summary
The Applications Specialist will be responsible for the planning and maintenance of application systems to support the business needs of the Company. This includes review and analysis of user functions and activities, evaluation of available resources and current systems, and the altering of existing programs or systems to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze business needs with respective department managers, discuss technical solutions, and develop plan of approach
  • Analyze and support the development and installation of new or enhanced systems
  • Perform all aspects of systems installation including altering existing programs, testing and evaluation of new processes, and implementation of new applications
  • Prepare program documentation to support new or enhanced systems and applications
  • Participate in structured walk-throughs and other activities to review systems and provide training and support
  • Perform ongoing maintenance and review of applications systems and programs; identify problems and develop appropriate solutions
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • High School Diploma required, Experience or demonstrated aptitude in Information Systems, low code environments, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of Relational Databases, PaaS, Power Apps, S3, and Sharepoint a must.
  • Knowledge and experience administrating, customizing, or programming Quickbase, Netsuite, Solidworks PDM is a big plus.
  • Previous experience programming or customizing applications in low code environments required.
  • Strong Microsoft Office 365 knowledge required.
  • Excellent communication skills in-person and on the phone
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple, long term projects with a high attention to detail.
