Job Summary:

Flowserve The company is looking for a technically and commercially experienced salesperson in the office, for the role of Applications Engineer for a fill-time permanent position.

In this role, you will develop solutions for customers and partners across industrial and special applications.
You will act as a product specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments at the site.


Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Support of the defined clientele in the office
- Evaluation of requests, generation of solution proposals
- Cost calculation, if necessary in cooperation with the relevant departments
- Technical and commercial preparation of offers
- Order acceptance, review, and preparation (Complete Order)
- And any other duties as assigned
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as, inside Sales Representative, Engineer for 3-5 years.

- A valves application engineer would also need to be comfortable with Flowserve's product portfolio and customer-facing technical support, in particular valve types knowledge, sizing and selection basics, reading P&IDs and datasheets, troubleshooting flow and pressure issues.
- Customer communication and proposal writing skills.
- Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking.
- SAP knowledge Experience in dealing with common MS Office applications.
- BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 3-5 years relevant experience

This position will be working out of office with minimum travel requirements.

This professional will work in a team of peers sharing work load for 2-3 product lines.
