About the Job
The Appliance Sales Consultants primary role is to consult with consumers, assess their needs and recommend the best solutions. Processing the appliance order and scheduling for delivery via our modern software program. This position is an integral part of giving every showroom guest and caller a great customer experience with the goal of creating a customer for life. It requires keeping up with current design trends, learning about new products and extreme follow up skills. The appliance industry is one filled with new products and technology. Training is provided via vendor representatives, away training at vendor training facilities and via online opportunities. It is a business casual environment with a mix of floor sales and desk time which includes phone interaction.
The perfect candidate is energetic, personable; detail oriented and is a good communicator. They will have sold home goods or luxury products. Appliances, Jewelry, high end fashion or automotive experience is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior appliance and/or decorative plumbing sales experience
  • Minimum 3 years commission sales, customer service or retail experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
  • Available to work a variety of hours, which may include Saturdays
  • High school diploma or equivalent
