Job description

Position Summary
The LTH Lead is a supplemental role assigned to an existing commission-based or hourly + incentive Personal Training team member at the same Life Time club. This role is not a standalone position and is intended to be performed in addition to a qualifying primary Personal Training role, with limited hours each week.
As a LTH Lead at Life Time, you will be responsible for product education, sales and customer service of LTH nutritional products inside of Life Time. This role requires a strong knowledge and passion of both nutrition and fitness, excellent sales skills, and the ability to mentor and guide commissionable team members to achieve sales targets. The LTH Lead reports directly to the Personal Training Lead withing the club and will get support from the Corporate LTH team.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Sales Training & Education:
    • Conduct engaging training sessions for personal trainers, group fitness instructors, and front desk staff on our nutrition supplement products.
    • Develop educational materials and presentations to simplify product knowledge and benefits.
    • Conduct sampling events monthly during prime-time hours.
  • Sales Strategy Development:
    • Collaborate with staff to create and implement effective sales techniques and strategies for promoting nutrition supplements.
    • Monitor sales performance and provide feedback and coaching to staff to maximize their potential.
  • Product Inventory Management:
    • Work closely with the cafe leader to ensure optimal inventory levels of nutrition supplements, especially before promotions or special events.
    • Assist in planning and executing promotional campaigns, ensuring all staff are informed and prepared.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Be available on the fitness floor to engage with members, answer questions about supplements, and provide personalized recommendations.
    • Gather feedback from staff and members to refine product offerings and sales approaches.
  • Collaboration:
    • Foster a strong partnership with the cafe team to align nutrition supplement sales with cafe offerings.
    • Participate in team meetings to share insights and strategies for improving overall member experience and satisfaction.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED

Years of Experience:
  • Background in nutrition, fitness, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in sales, preferably in the health and wellness industry.

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:
  • CPR and AED Certified

Skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to inspire and educate.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse staff and members.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay
This position will be paid on a commission basis tied to performance goals. The minimum pay for the position will be in excess of one-and-one-half times the applicable minimum wage per hour.
