We are in need of someone that can Implement sales strategies for assigned territories to increase sales and profits. Will identify opportunities with new/current accounts to promote new products, deliver sales presentations, establish and maintain a highly effective level of customer service and product knowledge.
Job Description
Position Responsibilities:
• Services existing accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule; meets or calls decision makers, reviews stock, analyzes results, assesses needs, and provides solutions.
• Generates sales leads through referrals, networking, cold calling, email, social media to expand customer base and generate new leads.
• Supports and achieves sales strategies, forecasts, budgets and goals for the assigned territory
• Provides extensive customer contact via store visits, phone calls and email.
• Creates effective proposals that identify the customers' business needs and offers solutions to problems.
• Develops a sales plan based on each customer's needs to cross sell product line, expand product selection and/or introduce new products.
• Plans and completes territory travel efficiently for geographically grouped store visits whenever necessary.
• Educates the store representatives and provides product knowledge by conducting and/or participating in sales promotion and educational meetings.
• Arranges, coordinates and conducts customer demonstrations.
• Attends trade expos or educational seminars whenever necessary
• Attends store meetings and sales functions.
• Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
• Understands and utilizes electronic sales tools to effectively administer sales objectives, track results and maintain customer database for assigned territory.
• Reports activities, intermediate results and final results weekly.
• Works to support existing distributor network
• Researches and gathers competitive marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. and makes recommendations accordingly.
• Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations for improvements.
• Manages personal expenses in a responsible and timely fashion.
Qualifications
Experience:
• Min 2 years sales experience preferred.
• Nutritional supplement sales or similar consumer goods preferred.
• Outstanding consultative selling abilities.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal, internally and externally.
• Workable knowledge in ACT a must; Salesforce preferred.
• Strong computer and analytical skills. (Knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Must be able to travel based on business needs
• Must have valid driver's license and insurance
• Bachelors degree preferred
