1099 Consultant Role
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Deliver on-site deskside support at the Denver, CO location.
• Provide hardware and software support for Windows and Mac desktops and laptops.
• Configure, test, and install printers, scanners, and network copier/printers.
• Install and configure laptops and PCs using standardized computer images.
• Support users with file share access and permissions-related issues.
• Track, log, and report all service requests accurately.
• Perform security vulnerability patching and remediation.
• Provide conference room/AV support as needed.
• Ensure the latest approved BIOS updates and system patches are applied to PCs and laptops.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience:
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Six months of experience with a vocational technical school certificate (CompTIA A+ or Apple Support) preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Strong experience supporting iOS and macOS.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in managing Active Directory, including users, groups, and computers.
• Excellent documentation, collaboration, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical skills and a creative, self-starting approach.
