Job description

Job Title: Appian Developer
Location: New York, NY ( 3 Days Onsite and 2 days Remote)
Duration: Long Term
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with architects to implement a scalable, cloud-ready Appian solution that integrates with enterprise systems and services.
  • Understand the design and development of Appian Architect for applications, including process models, decisions, and rules.
  • Develop and configure complex workflows to support end-to-end case management, intake, adjudication, payments, and enforcement.
  • Implement configurable business rules engines, dynamic workflows, and ADA-compliant user interfaces.
  • Design and develop custom Appian plug-ins and extensions when platform features need to be extended.
  • Build and maintain real-time and batch integrations using Appian's native connectors, web services, and integration frameworks.
  • Apply DevOps and CI/CD practices using Appian pipelines, automated testing, and standard development toolsets.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and accessibility standards are embedded in all development activities.
  • Mentor junior developers and support client staff in knowledge transfer and training.
  • Participate in data migration from legacy platforms into Appian Data Fabric.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in computer science or relevant field of study
  • 7 + years of experience in a software development role
  • 5 + years of experience using Appian software
  • Background in Software Development: a solid foundation in software development is essential
  • Process Modeling and Low-code Application design: Proficiency in process modeling and low-code application design
  • Certification: consider obtaining the Appian Certified Associate Developer Certification
  • Strong Analytical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills
