MOSSA is seeking a highly organized, results-driven Apparel & Merchandise Supervisor to oversee the planning, procurement, merchandising, marketing, and inventory management of apparel and branded merchandise. This role is responsible for managing daily merchandising operations, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and ensuring product assortments align with company objectives, customer demand, and brand standards.

The ideal candidate combines strong merchandising expertise with business acumen, analytical thinking, and a passion for delivering exceptional product experiences that support revenue growth and brand engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Merchandising & Product

  • Manage apparel and merchandise assortments across all MOSSA brands.
  • Monitor product performance, sales trends, inventory levels, and customer demand to make data-driven merchandising decisions.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop seasonal merchandise plans, promotions, and product launch strategies.
  • Ensure product offerings reflect MOSSA's brand standards, customer preferences, and business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for new product development, category expansion, and third-party vendor partnerships.
  • Manage and maintain the e-commerce store to ensure an engaging customer experience, accurate product information, and user-friendly navigation.

Inventory & Purchasing

  • Forecast inventory requirements and maintain optimal stock levels to support customer demand.
  • Coordinate purchasing activities, replenishment schedules, and vendor orders.
  • Monitor inventory turnover, aging stock, and product availability.
  • Partner with warehouse operations to ensure inventory accuracy and efficient product fulfillment.

Vendor & Supplier Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with apparel manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors.
  • Track delivery timelines to ensure on-time fulfillment.
  • Resolve vendor-related issues involving quality, shipping, and order accuracy.

Marketing & Brand Collaboration

  • Partner with the Marketing Designer to develop new product concepts, apparel collections, and promotional campaigns.
  • Coordinate product photography and lifestyle photo shoots for marketing and e-commerce initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the social media team to promote merchandise through digital channels and increase sales.
  • Develop and execute monthly email marketing campaigns to drive product awareness and revenue growth.

Product Presentation & Quality Control

  • Ensure product descriptions, sizing information, pricing, and merchandising content are accurate and up to date.
  • Review product samples and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Support product launches and promotional initiatives through effective merchandising and cross-functional coordination.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Analyze sales performance, inventory metrics, and merchandising KPIs to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare regular reports and recommendations for leadership.
  • Utilize data to improve forecasting accuracy, product selection, inventory management, and profitability.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities within the apparel and merchandise market.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Experience leading projects, managing vendor relationships, and collaborating across departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with e-commerce merchandising platforms such as Shopify.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
