Job Summary
We are seeking a hard-working and friendly Merchandiser to join the team. As a Merchandiser, you will monitor the levels of inventory in grocery stores and maintain appropriate inventory levels. You will increase sales by ensuring  grocery stores always have sufficient levels of our products.


Responsibilities 
  • Develop and plan merchandising strategies for grocery store
  • Forecast consumer trends and identify preferences for store customers
  • Research supplier options, taking into consideration prices, quality, etc. to determine the best fit for grocery stores
  • Negotiate details of sales with store managers
  • Report on sales, budgets, and customer satisfaction
  • Grow sales volume, market share, product distribution, space allocation, and customer service in all assigned accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategies to accomplish key company goals.
  • Ensure distribution and availability of products to the assigned customers.
  • Develop strong business relationship with store management to provide services and value beyond the customer's expectations.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Experience in in Grocery industry (recommended 2 + years) OR- work experience in merchandising (preferably merchandising in Grocery stores)- 2 + years
  • Understanding best practices in customer service and sales
  • Understanding of effective negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with market research and data analysis
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work well with supervisor and coworkers in a team environment
  • **Bilingual : Spanish/ English (50% or +) (e-mails, messages, and selling in Spanish)
  • *Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full time basis, have a car, valid drivers license and proof of insurance.
