We are seeking a versatile, high-energy Graphic Designer & Customer Service Manager to be the face and creative spark of our shop. This hybrid role bridges the gap between raw customer ideas and production-ready art. You will manage our front-of-house customer experience, handle incoming walk-in traffic, collaborate closely with our internal sales team, and prepare precise job quotes.
If you love graphic design but crave human interaction rather than just staring at a screen all day, this is the perfect role for you. This is a fully in person role.  Must be available to be present during business hours 8:30 am - 5:00 pm M-F
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Communication

  • Front-Line Engagement: Greet walk-in clients with a friendly, welcoming attitude and guide them through our product options.
  • Excellence in Communication: Answer phone calls and emails promptly, translating complex production jargon into simple terms for clients.
  • Consultative Quoting: Gather project details (garment types, sizing, artwork placements) to build and send accurate price quotes to customers.
Graphic Design & Pre-Press

  • Creative Adaptation: Clean up, vectorize, and format customer-supplied artwork for various production lines.
  • Original Design: Create eye-catching layouts for signs, apparel, and promotional items based on client briefs.
  • Proofing: Generate digital mockups for customer approval, ensuring exact specifications before production begins.
Team Collaboration

  • Sales Synergy: Partner closely with internal sales staff to smoothly transition leads into active, well-defined design orders.
  • Production Hand-off: Coordinate with print, embroidery, and sign technicians to ensure artwork meets physical production constraints.
Qualifications
  • Design Portfolio: Proven experience in graphic design (proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW is required).
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with vector artwork setup for screen printing, embroidery, vinyl, or laser engraving is highly preferred.
  • Customer-First Mindset: Prior experience in retail, customer service, or front-desk management.
  • Math & Detail Oriented: Comfort with basic math to calculate material costs, margins, and final client quotes.
  • Multitasking Ability: Capable of switching gears seamlessly from designing a logo to greeting a customer at the door.
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly wage/salary based on experience ($25-30/hr)
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Employee discounts on custom apparel and gear
  • A vibrant, team-first workspace where your creativity directly impacts local businesses
