Job description

We're hiring Apartment Maintenance Technicians for temp and temp-to-perm positions at communities throughout Metro Atlanta.Are you a maintenance pro who wants more control over your schedule? Pay: Weekly Pay

  1. Maintenance Tech - $21.50/hour
  2. HVAC Certified Maintenance Tech - $23/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday between 8 am-6 pm (No Weekends).


Location: We service various multifamily and single-family build-to-rent communities throughout Metro Atlanta including Cobb, Fulton, DeKalb and Gwinnett counties.


Apartment Maintenance and Service Techs Need:

  1. At least 6 months of verifiable hands-on experience renovating, remodeling and/or fixing things in homes, buildings, or hotels.
  2. Experience in basic electrical and plumbing, light carpentry, appliance repair, painting, mechanical knowledge and HVAC heating and air conditioning (if you're EPA Certified).
  3. Self-starter who can work with little supervision.
  4. Basic hand tools for maintenance repair work.
  5. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  6. To qualify for our HVAC Certified Maintenance Tech role in addition to the qualifications listed above you must have a EPA Type I & II or Universal certification and at least 6 months of hands-on working experience performing HVAC work. HVAC certified technicians must have gauges and meters for HVAC tasks.


What You’ll Do:

  1. Complete Service Requests to quickly troubleshoot, diagnose and repair using knowledge in lighting, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, flooring, painting and sheetrock / drywall.
  2. Possible unit interior renovation and construction rehab work in multifamily homes including installing cabinets, countertops, light fixtures, toilets, blinds, windows, sinks faucets, water heaters, HVAC units, appliances, ceiling fans, doors, etc.
  3. Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks for residential apartments,
  4. Change locks and make keys when needed.
  5. Clean up after doing your work.
  6. Prepare vacant units for new tenants.
  7. Keep accurate records of maintenance, service requests, expenses, and the status of repairs for apartment make-ready tasks.
  8. Know where all the utility cut-offs (like water and power) are before starting work.
  9. Check and report any unsafe conditions to the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
  10. Complete service requests safely and on time.
  11. Help move appliances in and out of apartments.
  12. Maintain grounds and building exteriors. Help pick up trash around the property including common areas like swimming pools and public bathrooms.
  13. Follow safety standards and wear personal protective equipment when needed.
  14. Provide exceptional customer service to residents
  15. Maintain a professional attitude and appearance as well as providing consistent superior customer service to residents.
  16. If you're HVAC Certified, troubleshoot and service HVAC equipment according to EPA standards, using the necessary equipment and logs.


Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  1. Work both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
  2. Tasks often involve standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching for long periods.
  3. Frequently lift over 50 pounds across varying distances.
